In 1956 architect Edward Durell Stone renovated a NYC Townhouse facade. It features a decorative concrete breezeblock grille. Cue the early 2020s, and a longtime vision to replicate this seriously dramatic styling came about.
With the need for a less permanent option to concrete block needed, Malcolm Taylor Design teamed up with Creative Director Nicola Devine to develop the East Breeze Screen.
More than a simple double or triple whammy — this design offers solar disbursement, acoustic attenuation, repels dust and is ecocentric: manufactured from a recycled material with a firm, felt-like quality. Perfect for use over window interiors, on walls or ceilings to add extra stylish touch.
