Custom Dining Room Futurismo Light Shade With Additional Acoustics
This Futurismo light shade was used to compliment a mid-century-mixed-with-modern aesthetic, with added extra acoustic attenuation.
With an open flow between kitchen, dining and lounge areas, the client wanted to use the light shade to imply a separation of space and functionality, by situating the shade over the centrally placed wooden dining room table.
The choice of light coloured, wood-print fins, with a high-hang and a wide, horizontal format achieved separation while providing a characterful feature element.
This multi-layered structure not only serves as a striking focal point but also beautifully diffuses light, casting intricate and captivating light and shadow patterns across the room. Perfect for a sophisticated dining experience.
The felt-like material used for the fins is crafted from an innovative recycled plastic bottle process.
